THE WAY OF THE JEWISH MYSTICS

Only a handful of Christians realize that there is a rich body of Jewish writings dealing with mysticism, philosophy, and daily living in a spiritual manner and have also forgotten the early Christians who were JEWS.....and that a JEWISH CHRISTIAN CHURCH(ES) existed prior to the consolidation of orthodox Christianity, that either rejected, ignored, or restated things to create THE MONOLITHIC STRUCTURES so admired and predominant in the world today......including reformatory ones, PROTESTANTISM, FUNDAMENTALISM, etc. ......THE MONTHEISTIC RELIGIONS, FROM THAT OF THE EGYPTIANS TO ISLAM have not been fully appreciated or understood by most so-called Christians and probably never will for many reasons.....but these are other issues....of education and communication and tolerance to some extent......Being able to listen as well as to preach seems often to be lacking in any type of religious undertaking, especially on a social/cultural level.....that is why an individual approach to this is more likely to achieve better results than mass movements or the like....but that is another issue....which means that anyone who endeavors to experience mystical states or revelations or the like had best do it in isolation and privacy and seclusion...where the world tends not to intrude, invade, or control such things....
